The French "la poste" introduced the SVP-Service. SVP - S'il vous plaît - which was one of the first hotlines worldwide and provided all kind of information to the citizens of Paris.

1939

SVP as support-service for decision makers

The entrepreneur Maurice de Turckheim took over the SVP management and established the support-service for decision makers. The requests concerned markets, company information and products. As international trade required more and more reliable sources all over the world the international SVP-network was established.

1980

Online Gesellschaft für Informationsvermittlung mbH founded in Heidelberg

The Online mbH has developed and used public databases and was therefore one of the co-founder of the era of telecommunications.

1987

SVP-Service in Germany

Michael Ripke acquired the licence from SVP International for Germany and established the support-service as part of the ONLINE GMBH. SVP Deutschland started with 5 employees and one PC.

1999

SVP Deutschland AG

In 1999 the company form changed from Ltd. to Shareholder company. Since then, SVP has been concentrating on management support-service only.

2002

Change of management

2002 the founder and CEO Michael Ripke retired. Since then Tim Brouwer has managed the business of SVP with more than 30 employees. Michael Ripke has taken over the chairman position in the board of management.

2005

SVP at the CeBIT 2005

For the first time SVP Deutschland AG has taken part in the CeBIT in Hannover as an exhibitor.

2010

Fifth SVP-Conference "Market Intelligence"

In 2010 SVP has organised the SVP-conference "Market Intelligence" for the fifth time. Every year different speeches are held and different market intelligence subjects are discussed within groups.
